Challenge
When Coleg Cambria announced the merger of two colleges, they anticipated significant challenges bringing multiple systems across multiple sites into a unified tech infrastructure.
They wanted a solution that would enable students, staff and visitors to connect anytime, anywhere across their diverse campus locations whilst maintaining operational efficiency and minimising disruption to the learning experience.
Plan
We worked closely with Coleg Cambria to develop a long-term tech strategy that would support their merger and position them for future innovation. Our approach focused on creating a unified network infrastructure with complete visibility and control, whilst implementing automation solutions to streamline ongoing deployments and reduce operational complexity across their multi-site estate.
Approach
Over the course of our 20 year collaboration, we’ve deployed a comprehensive wireless refresh across all Coleg Cambria campuses, creating a seamless learning and social experience for students, staff and visitors.
We’ve also deployed Cisco Meraki, giving the college complete, real-time visibility of their network across their whole campus, through a single lens dashboard. As well as implementing our deployment automation solutions to drastically reduce deployment times and minimise disruption to the learning experience.
Outcome
Coleg Cambria now benefits from a unified network infrastructure that provides seamless connectivity across all five campuses. With real-time visibility into network performance, vulnerabilities, asset lifecycle, and opportunities to maximise network efficiencies, the college's IT team can proactively manage their infrastructure and respond quickly to any issues.
The deployment automation we implemented has transformed how the college rolls out new tech, drastically reducing implementation times and ensuring minimal disruption to students and staff. This efficiency has allowed Coleg Cambria to focus on innovation and continuously improve the digital learning experience rather than managing complex technical deployments.
