Our team developed a comprehensive plan to overhaul the IT infrastructure at Plumcroft Primary School. The plan included a discovery exercise, design, pilot testing, and migration of workloads to the new infrastructure. The solution was designed to be scalable and resilient, with failover capabilities between the sites.
Approach
We executed an IT management solution that began with assessing the existing infrastructure. The approach included:
Installing 70-inch Dell interactive LED screens and Ergotron iPad storage units in every classroom.
Deploying 150 iPads and Dell desktops/laptops pre-configured for seamless use.
Providing HP copiers, printers, and upgrading the phone system to include both conventional lines and VoIP.
Handling all data cabling for the new second site.
Migrating 120 users to Office 365 and 23 servers to Microsoft Azure.
Outcome
The IT transformation led to over £30,000 in savings for Plumcroft Primary School.
