Envisioning infrastructure that was reliable, easy to use, and efficient, TECP-P decided it was time to modernise their network and take a leap into the future, to become early adopters of Cisco Meraki technology. 

But with their campuses spread far and wide – each with its own unique requirements and at differing stages of modernisation – TEC-P faced significant hurdles. Their complex and non-standardised network infrastructure was a major obstacle to delivering seamless teaching and learning experiences through a reliable wireless service.

We worked closely with TEC-P to develop a comprehensive strategy that would standardise their network infrastructure whilst addressing the diverse requirements of each campus. We decided to deploy Cisco Meraki technology to create a unified, manageable network foundation, followed by our WiserWatts solution to drive energy efficiency and cost savings across the entire estate.

We deployed Cisco Meraki across all TEC-P campuses, creating a standardised network infrastructure that was reliable, easy to use, and efficient. This unified approach allowed the IT team to manage all sites from a single central dashboard – Network Intelligence – regardless of each campus's unique requirements or stage of modernisation.

To really maximise efficiency and sustainability, we implemented our WiserWatts sustainable networking solution, which manages network power consumption, delivering significant energy and cost savings without compromising performance or user experience.

With 20 sites and over 10,000 students, Network Intelligence, powered by boxxe Labs, has become TEC-P’s single source of truth, providing continuous visibility across the entire network. The team now has a continuous and up to date view of their extensive network, allowing them to maintain the quality of their services with confidence. 

The WiserWatts solution has delivered substantial cost savings through reduced energy consumption and carbon emissions. And backed up by Assure, our backup and disaster recovery service, TECP-P can rest easy knowing their data is safely and securely stored off-cloud, 24/7/365.
