Founded in 1993, Crew Clothing is a growing UK retailer of high-end British casual clothing for men, women, and children. The company has 76 stores across the UK, with more than 500 employees. Known for its classic and timeless fashion, Crew Clothing provides quality products and excellent customer service.
Results
The boxxe Group successfully replaced ageing PCs in 50 Crew Clothing stores, significantly improving performance and enabling the rollout of Microsoft Dynamics. The new system resulted in faster customer service, enhancing the customer purchase process and overall experience.

Plan
The boxxe Group and Crew Clothing planned a phased rollout of new PCs. The boxxe Group sourced, configured, and shipped new Fujitsu PCs to 50 stores, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations. The plan included full configuration services, installing extra hardware on the PCs, and imaging their disks before shipping them to the branches.
Approach
To address these issues, Crew Clothing turned to the boxxe Group, to simplify the process. The team provided a straightforward, cost-effective way to customise the equipment for the stores. The logistical capabilities of the boxxe Group were proven by obtaining and shipping PCs, monitors, receipt printers, cash drawers, and barcode scanners to new stores in a single, timed delivery.
Outcome
The boxxe Group sent each PC using a next-day courier, with the schedule agreed upon with the IT Support Manager so each store knew when to expect its new machine. Usually, the computer arrived on a Thursday, and then on the next Monday, an engineer arrived before trading hours to install it. The main benefit of the new computers is improved performance, which means customers receive faster service and an enhanced shopping experience.
The main reason we chose the boxxe Group was the configuration service, which has worked really, really well. Also, we price-matched the boxxe Group’s proposal against other major resellers, and it came out best.
The configuration service was very cost-effective and saved me a lot of headaches and a lot of work, so all we had to do was remotely backup the data from the old till and restore it to the new one. Without this service, I would have had to hire someone for at least a couple of months, so the boxxe Group saved me this cost, as well as the need to manage and train them.
