Challenge
Finsbury Trust needed a state-of-the-art IT infrastructure to compete more successfully for international business and keep pace with growing operational demands. The solution required new disaster recovery capabilities and fast backups, whilst being deployed with minimal disruption.
Plan
Our strategy focused on a complete refresh that would enhance performance, reliability, and disaster recovery capabilities whilst minimising operational disruption.
Approach
We designed and installed the new infrastructure on-site, which included patching and configuration of hardware, operating systems, software, switches, and power. Where possible, we made the upgrades to existing equipment.
The solution included Dell servers for exceptional performance, Microsoft Windows 2012 R2, SQL Server 2012 and Exchange 2013, VMware vSphere Hypervisor ESXi V5.5, four Cisco 2960X switches, VEEAM Essentials (Enterprise) for backup and replication, and BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express 5.0 for advanced smartphone features.

With their refreshed infrastructure, Finsbury Trust now benefits faster response times, greater compatibility, improved DR solutions, and enhanced system stability.
