Knight Frank is a large global property partnership, operating in 60 countries. Founded in London by John Knight, Howard Frank, and William Rutley in 1896, Knight Frank is an estate agency and residential and commercial property consultancy.

Knight Frank wanted to refresh its desktop estate. They needed a refresh for hardware and software for their staff.

Challenge

The UK team needed to update hardware and software, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations. The challenge was to provide each staff member with new equipment while also managing the logistics of unboxing, installing, and recycling old hardware.

Plan

boxxe Group devised a comprehensive plan to manage the start-to-finish implementation of new hardware and software. This included holding bonded stock, imaging, asset tagging, and safely disposing of old equipment.

Approach

We executed a smooth rollout across 84 sites, including 39 London branches and 45 offices outside London from Exeter to Aberdeen. They removed old desktops and monitors, installed new equipment, and provided on-site support while users attended training sessions.

Outcome

The rollout ensured every user had a smooth transition to the new software, with 81% of staff reporting extreme satisfaction. The relationship with boxxe has benefitted Knight Frank, providing reliable support and expertise throughout the deployment programme.

Being so client-focused, Knight Frank needed effective and reliable technology deployed to their staff. Technology is pivotal in delivering our services. The equipment we were looking at needed to meet certain criteria. It was very important our staff had a seamless experience when they turned the computer on, and they were able to turn their laptop into a tablet.

We wanted to find a partner that would listen to our requirements and then activate them in a way we were happy and comfortable with. We found the boxxe Group was the most responsive. Every step of the way the team helped us select devices, review them, and ensure the deployment of Windows 10 was there before delivery to the site.

They assisted with the unboxing and installation. It was a complex process because we had so many pieces of the puzzle we had to put together to get one day's work of delivery in.

The boxxe Group managed to deploy Windows 10 and Office 2013 to all users, assisting everyone from start to finish. Overall, it was a smooth and easy transition that enabled all of Knight Frank's 84 offices to have a new desktop estate.
