Let’s reshape the future of business, together

Dell Technologies World delivered an impressive showcase of the latest tech, trends, and industry discourse. From insightful keynotes and plenty of networking to some great breakout sessions, there was a lot to take in… So, here’s our round up of the most exciting, most impactful announcements made at Dell Technologies World 2025 in Las Vegas.

1. “AI is not your product. But it can power your purpose.”

Founder and CEO Michael Dell kicked off the conference with a keynote on ‘Inventing the Future’, delving into how AI will reinvent workplace productivity and how we can use data to drive better outcomes. He was keen to highlight that “it's not just about the technology”, stating that what really matters is “how enterprises can create and capture value” using that tech, or as we like to say, making it human!

2. By 2028, 98% of all PCs will be AI PCs

Standard PCs can run AI software, but AI PCs are specifically equipped with hardware designed to run AI processing. So, with Windows 10 nearing End of Service and up to 600 million devices which can’t be upgraded to Windows 11, there’s never been a better time to start integrating AI into your business on the very devices which run it!

3. “Data is the centre of everything”

The edge is the place where data is acted on near its creation point to generate immediate, essential value. When you can analyse and act on data at the source, you can rapidly uncover efficiencies, improve experiences and drive your innovation priorities”.

With 75% of enterprise data produced at the edge, Dell Technologies is using Edge AI solutions to enable real-time data processing on the edge — reducing latency, improving flexibility and increasing performance.

4. 39% of all data centre power isn’t utilised

As businesses look to accelerate AI adoption, improving Data Centre (DC) efficiencies will be critical to its success. That includes implementing modern application platforms, optimising multicloud and edge and strengthening cyber resilience. With so many efficiency-improving measures out there, the global AI infrastructure market is predicted to surpass $200 billion in spending by 2028.

5. AI will add an extra $15T to the global economy by 2030

When it comes to modernising your AI infrastructure, Dell Technologies says 77% of customers want their infrastructure vendor to build the full AI stack and solution. Their latest Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA 2.0 provides the answer:

  • Delivering “new AI solutions that drive innovation for accelerated compute and data processing, streamline operations and achieve faster results at every stage of AI deployment”.

  • Offering upgraded infrastructure, full-stack enterprise AI solutions and end-to end managed services.

Dell introduced the next generation of solutions to advance AI innovation with enhanced power, efficiency. and scalability, including new Dell PowerEdge servers equipped with NVIDIA and AMD GPUs, Dell PowerCool eRDHx for up to 60% reduction in cooling energy use, and plans to support the NVIDIA Vera CPU.

In his keynote, Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of NVIDIA said that with Dell Technologies, they now offer “the broadest line of Blackwell AI systems to serve AI factories in clouds, enterprises and at the edge.”

6. 67% of customers are afraid that new innovations will increase their attack surface

And with the expected cost for these attacks over the next few years set to reach $300 billion, we can understand why. But as Dell Technologies pointed out, 70% of ransomware attacks today are done on poorly managed and non-secure endpoints.

Their AI Factory offerings — and approach to cybersecurity — are designed to mitigate these vulnerabilities by not only reducing the attack surface at the endpoint, but implementing early and rapid threat detection and recovery, as well as 24/7 monitoring, reporting, version upgrades, and patching.

Security plays a critical role in the development of AI innovations, and it’s at the heart of Dell’s technologies.

7. AI will become as essential as electricity

There are some huge opportunities for both customers and providers right now, which Dell Technologies is keen to build on, alongside its partners:

  • New devices — Windows 10 is nearing End of Life and businesses are looking to refresh COVID era PCs or introduce AI PCs as part of their modern workplace upgrades.

  • More data is on the horizon — with advancements of other tech in sectors like healthcare and defence, larger and larger pools of data are appearing, which can be leveraged through AI to create serious value for businesses.

  • Future-proofing cybersecurity — resilience across entire modern IT systems is the name of the game in this new AI era from compute and networking to storage and software.

8. Our key takeaway

Dell Technologies is on a mission to make enterprise AI accessible to businesses of all shapes and sizes, with a suite of tech solutions and offerings to suit different budgets, requirements and existing capabilities.
