My City Centre Voices'  York vision featured boxxe CEO and Investor Phil Doye discussing the story from SBL to boxxe, the city's ecosystem and how it's conducive for businesses, and what the future holds for the city of York.

The video below forms part of an opportunity for the City of York council to listen to residents and businesses on some of the challenges and opportunities facing the city centre.

Whilst COVID-19 had an impact on the city, this has meant the need for various voices to be heard more critical than ever. One of which was boxxe CEO and investor, Phil Doye, who discussed his experience as an investor in York, and how the city's ecosystem is conducive for businesses in the locality, and what makes the city of York a special place.

Approved by York's council Executive, My City Centre Voices is based on three distinct principles: 

• Build a brief - Better understand and offer visibility to various ideas from diverse groups of people

• Explore challenges - Nurture an open public debate about complex issues

• Make change together - Develop ongoing networks with a key community influence in long-term decision-making, design and delivery
