2025 in review
Throughout 2025, we’ve strengthened partnerships, delivered outstanding results, and made a meaningful difference for our clients and communities. This year’s achievements reflect our commitment to collaboration, innovation, and driving positive outcomes together.
Strategic growth through acquisition
The defining moment of 2025 was our acquisition of CAE Technology Services Limited in July. This wasn't just an acquisition – it was a strategic leap forward that fundamentally strengthens our position in the market.
As market leaders in networking and security, CAE brings top-tier Cisco and Microsoft accreditations, that, combined with boxxe’s scale and broad portfolio of products and solutions, unlock exciting new possibilities for our customers. Building on our January 2024 purchase of Total Computer Networks Limited, this acquisition reinforces boxxe's position as one of the UK's leading providers of software, solutions, and services.
The integration is scheduled for early 2026, and we're already seeing strong momentum from the CAE portfolio pipeline. We're not just bigger – we're better positioned to support our customers' most critical needs.
Strengthening partnerships
2025 was a year of recognition and elevation across our partner ecosystem, demonstrating the strength and depth of our relationships with the world’s leading tech providers.
We were delighted to receive industry recognition as Cisco UK & EMEA Security Partner of the Year at the Cisco Partner Summit in San Diego and Dell Technologies Public Sector Partner of the Year for a third consecutive year. These accolades aren’t just trophies on a shelf – they represent the trust our partners place in us, and our ability to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers.
We also achieved Fortinet Expert Partner Level, which is the highest tier in their partner programme, were elevated to HPE Gold Partner status and HPE Aruba Silver Partner, and onboarded as one of only five Dell AI partners in the UK. As well as being promoted to NetApp Preferred Level Partner and achieving and maintaining all four Microsoft Solution Designations (Modern Work, Infrastructure, Security, Data & AI).
Our new regional office in Spinningfields, Manchester supports these efforts, strengthening our connection to the Manchester tech community with a modern hub built for collaboration, innovation, and shared success.
These are fantastic milestones which unlock competitive advantages – translating directly into better outcomes for our customers.
Customer success stories
We’ve supported a wide-range of customers on their tech transformation journeys, delivering some significant cost-savings, improving efficiencies, and changing the way their teams work, for the better.
We worked with McCarthy Stone, the UK’s leading retirement living provider, to deliver a complete IT Lifecycle Management Service, deploying 600+ laptops across multiple locations on a tight timeline, and at an affordable price.
We brought Artillery System’s tech into the 21st century with a trusted, high availability Secure Content Delivery System which gives their team access to external content for all systems from a single source.
We upgraded the British Transport Police’s non-enterprise, aged legacy Digital Evidence Unit (DEU) environment to our full enterprise solution, with 2.1 PB of sensitive data now on the Dell Technologies PowerScale platform.
As part of Future Publishing’s 4-year Lifecycle process, we completed a device refresh to over 2,000 users with their new model ‘standard’, having put a number of potential models through a rigorous testing process.
And at Tyler Grange – expert consultants in ecology, arboriculture and landscape planning – we reduced storage costs by getting rid of 5-7 terabytes of data and increased their productivity with a new, high-powered data management solution.
Defence & Public sector leadership
Our defence and public sector business continued its upward trajectory with major multi-year contract wins, and places on several critical procurement frameworks, including the NHS SBS Digital Workplace Solutions 2 and Shuttle framework. These frameworks open up the doors to some exciting opportunities across the public sector.

Our people, our purpose: belonging at boxxe
We champion key areas of belonging, with clear objectives and space for everyone to get involved. Whether it’s supporting mental health, strengthening our community ties, delivering meaningful social value, or celebrating our diverse culture.
Our people showed extraordinary commitment to causes that matter: Lissy Cross trekked to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) raising funds for The Talent Foundry, Tarah Mason completed a 25K ultra-marathon across the Tunisian desert in 36°C heat, helping raise an incredible £211,000 alongside her teammates for Head Up Charity, The Not Forgotten, REORG Charity, and Team Forces, and our Dell Management team braved the wind and rain in the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, raising an incredible £54,773 for The Talent Foundry! And once again, we walked (and ran!) over 375km in loving memory of our colleague James Eaglen, to raise money and awareness for Bowel Cancer UK.
boxxers from all over the country have come together and completed almost 2,000 community hours, with £100,000 going to worthy causes including Bowel Cancer UK, Team Forces, Team Police and Medaille Trust.
We also proudly sponsored Craig Wood, a British Army veteran who became the first triple amputee to sail solo, non-stop, and unsupported across the Pacific Ocean – earning two Guinness World Records.
We also had the opportunity to celebrate three outstanding individuals at the CRN Women & Diversity in Channel Awards:
Tarah Mason – Sales Employee of the Year
Caz Wilford – Sales Employee of the Year
Amy Thompson – Mental Health Champion of the Year
These recognitions reflect the calibre of people we have at boxxe – individuals who lead, inspire, and lift others up.
Looking ahead to 2026
As we plan for 2026, we’re building on the strong progress and partnerships we’ve established this year. We’ve shown that with the right focus, collaboration, and people, we can create meaningful impact.
Thank you to every boxxer for your dedication and commitment, and to our customers and partners for your continued trust and collaboration.
