This active converter helps you transmit digital audio and 4K video from the DisplayPort 1.2 output on your desktop computer, Chromebook, MacBook, Microsoft Surface or other compatible device to a 4K HDMI-enabled television, monitor or projector. It’s ideal for working in high-definition photography, videography or cinematography, as well as streaming video for digital signage in crystal-clear 4K. You can continue using your existing HDMI display without the expense of a new DisplayPort monitor.

Having a cable come loose accidentally can cause A/V signal loss at the most inconvenient times. The specially designed latching DisplayPort and high-grip HDMI connectors firmly grip the ports on your equipment to help prevent accidental disconnection and signal disruption. Transmits Crystal-Clear 4K HDMI Video with HDR and 4:4:4 Color
The P582-010-4K6AE supports Ultra HD video resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz (3840 x 2160) with rich, full 7.1-channel surround sound, as specified in HDMI 2.0. High Dynamic Range (HDR) provides a wide range of vibrant colors with richer contrast, brighter whites and deeper blacks that pop on your 4K display. HDCP 2.2 compliance allows you to stream iTunes and Netflix content with no complications. This cable supports 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or using your HDTV as a PC monitor.

With the DisplayPort-to-HDMI repeater/booster built directly into the DisplayPort connector, no bulky mid-cable adapter hinders installation through furniture or in hard-to-reach areas.
