Klevu perform semantic and statistical analysis of this data to identify the intent and to build multiple, product-noun (e.g. bag, shoe, chair) specific profiles of preferences. Klevu also employs a method called collaborative filtering, which involves analyzing the history of other customers who have or had performed similar searches and visited products similar to the products visited by the current customer.
