To send Ultra High Definition video to a DP television, projector or monitor, connect the DP output to the display using a DisplayPort cable (such as P580-Series, sold separately). The DisplayPort input supports video resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz with full, rich 7.1-channel digital stereo. It’s compatible with HDCP 2.2 and DisplayPort 1.2 standards for carrying HDR (high dynamic range) signals. It also supports 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or using your HDTV as a PC monitor.
