The new USB-C port has a number of tricks up its sleeve! Provided your laptop or tablet supports power delivery through this port, you gain the ability to connect all you need (data transfer, Internet, video and power supply) using a single cable.

One of the most powerful docking stations on the market that can convert an average-performing notebook into a top-class workstation with 4K or even up to 5K resolution support. Highly flexible connectivity options can be used for your current technology while opening the way for the future: this docking station can be connected to USB 3.0 ports as well as USB-C and Thunderbolt 3.

Increase efficiency by simply connecting the docking station to your laptop with a single cable. You do not only get access to power (applicable via USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 interfaces; not USB 3.0: it is not technically possible to charge a notebook with a USB 3.0 docking station), but also up to three monitors with 4K resolution, or one with 4K resolution, plus one with 5K. Five USB 3.0 ports and one USB-C port allow you to connect all of your existing favourite accessories. This docking station means you avoid having to constantly connect and disconnect devices every time you travel with your notebook or tablet. In addition, connection via a single cable helps to keep your desktop clean, tidy, and free from cables. A USB-C to USB- C, as well as a USB-C to USB 3.0 adapter are included in the box Drivers are installed automatically from Win 10, while other operating systems require a simple installation (in a multi-laptop environment running Windows 7, 8, or 8.1, a one-time corporate installation is possible).

Whether you work with demanding 2D/3D graphics applications, presentations, work professionally in a web-based environment, or watch videos or movies in the highest possible resolution, this docking station allows you to enjoy faultless resolutions up to 2x 4K 4096×2160@60Hz (2x DisplayPort) and 1x 4K 3840×2160@30Hz (HDMI), or 1x 5K 5120×2880@60Hz (2x DisplayPort) and 1x 4K 3840×2160@30Hz (HDMI). The huge advantage of this advanced docking station is that thanks to the top performing integrated graphics chip, regardless of whether your notebook supports 5K technology (or the integrated graphics card is not designed for high resolution), your functionality will be comparable to much more expensive workstations, with advanced graphics cards. Note: The HDMI port only works when connected via USB-C (docking station connectivity through USB 3.0 ensures the operation of two DisplayPorts, the HDMI port does not).

The docking station also offers audio input/output, a gigabit network card, five USB 3.0 ports (incl. one with Fast Charge BC 1.2 support), one USB-C data port and ON / OFF switch.
