Challenge_
Joe Browns, a designer fashion retailer, was in the middle of an extremely busy first quarter. They wanted a solution that would allow them to handle overflow sales through a third-party contact centre, without compromising the security of their other systems.
Plan_
The sales system had never been set up on a virtualized desktop before, and that’s what we needed to do! We mapped out a plan to design, set up and test an Azure Virtual Desktop environment in under two weeks.
Approach_
To get the system up and running, we had to create a cloud based virtual machine on the new infrastructure, reconfigure the network, transfer data and applications, and then test the solution, before handing it over to them.
Outcome_
With the new environment set up and ready to go, the third-party was able to provide Joe Browns with the overflow functionality needed to fulfil the increased sales orders it was dealing with. Efficiency was the name of the game here – Joe Browns needed a quick solution to a big problem – and we delivered, allowing them to continue providing the best service to customers during a very busy time.
