ECS needed a quick, cost effective and efficient solution to upgrade their outdated infrastructure and operating systems. We delivered a full cloud-based automated deployment, enabling ECS to focus on the work that really matters to them. ECS can now work faster and smarter, thanks to their upgrade, which offers them AI trend analysis, automated escalation chains, alert thresholds and warning capabilities.

Giving ECS’s new infrastructure enhanced reliability and resilience.
The challenge was simple: ECS’s infrastructure was outdated and nearing end of life. Their Windows operating systems were close to going out of support, which meant they needed to upgrade, as soon as possible! Their older infrastructure was causing stability issues and lacking resilience, which was costing them time and money in maintenance and recovery.
We decided a cloud based, fully automated deployment was the best solution to ECS’s problems. To improve their systems' stability, security and efficiency, we would update their platform to the latest version of Windows Server 2019, allowing us to modernise the infrastructure, systems, and software of their main (and restricted) networks. We also decided to upgrade their storage to provide additional resilience and performance.
We kicked off the cloud based deployment by refreshing and upgrading ECS’s hardware. We then set to work deploying a number of software systems, including; LogicMontior’s secure agentless data collector, Veeam backup server and software and Hyper-V failover clustering. Alongside this we patched servers, switches, storage arrays and firewalls.
We focused on delivering a valuable ROI, so ECS can focus on doing their work well. They now have systems with enhanced reliability and availability, thanks to the Hyper-V failover clustering we deployed. And with real-time dashboards and reporting, ECS is able to take quick and decisive technical action, when problems arise. All in all we delivered a scalable, lower cost, highly secure and reliable IT solution to solve ECS’s problem – a job well done.
